Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Last updated: 2026-05-14
What this page is
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), requires businesses that sell or share personal information to provide a clear opt-out mechanism. MadCoolSocial does neither — but California residents (and many other customers) reasonably expect to see a "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link, so this page exists to state our position plainly.
What we do with your data
We use the information you give us — account details, brand profile, connected social accounts, generated drafts, engagement metrics — for the sole purpose of operating the MadCoolSocial service for you. Specifically:
- Drafting posts that match your voice and approved content rules.
- Scheduling and publishing posts to social accounts you have connected.
- Reporting back to you on engagement so future drafts improve.
- Billing and account administration.
We disclose data only to the service providers we need to operate (our hosting providers, our publishing backend, our payment processor, our email provider) and to the social platforms you choose to connect. None of these disclosures constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under CCPA/CPRA.
If you believe we are selling your data
If you have any reason to believe MadCoolSocial is selling or sharing your personal information — or you have any other CCPA/CPRA request (right to know, right to delete, right to correct) — email privacy@madcoolsocial.com and we will respond within the statutory window.
