What we set
The complete list of cookies MadCoolSocial may set in your browser. Every cookie below is classified as "strictly necessary" under GDPR / ePrivacy — they cannot be disabled without breaking the product.
| Name | Purpose | Expiration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-* | Supabase authentication. Stores the access + refresh tokens that keep you signed in between page loads. | Up to 1 year (refreshed on activity) | Strictly necessary |
next-router-* | Next.js router state used for navigation, prefetching, and locale handling. | Session | Strictly necessary |
mcs-cookie-consent | Not a cookie — stored in localStorage. Records that you have seen and dismissed the cookie banner so we don't show it again. | Until cleared | Strictly necessary |
What we do NOT set
- Analytics cookies — no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no PostHog, no Mixpanel.
- Advertising cookies — no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads remarketing, no LinkedIn Insight Tag.
- Third-party tracking — no cross-site identifiers, no fingerprint probes, no "customer data platform" pixels.
Your controls
Because every cookie we set is strictly necessary, there is nothing to toggle off. You can clear MadCoolSocial cookies at any time using your browser's settings — doing so will simply sign you out and require you to sign in again on your next visit.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics, error-tracking, or any other non-essential cookie, we will update this page and present a real consent flow before any such cookie is set in your browser.
For broader context on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
